The Miami Heat’s playoff tickets went on sale on Monday through Ticketmaster only, with the team’s box office selling remaining tickets on Tuesday. Of course, there were no remaining tickets. So fans were forced to pay additional fees that aren’t paid if the tickets are purchased at the box office.
It’s bad enough that the Heat somehow doesn’t pay rent, but it’s not fair to force fans to pay additional charges. Isn’t this the sort of thing unfair business practice laws are supposed to prevent?
