cteproff@MiamiHerald.com

The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America’s annual Take Steps Walk will begin 6 p.m. Saturday at Hollywood’s Arts Park, in Young Circle.

The walk, meant to raise money to fight digestive diseases, is one of more than 100 Take Steps walks across the country to support the more than 1.4 million Americans affected by digestive diseases.

Brittany Oldehoff, Miss Fort Lauderdale 2013, will serve as this year’s Grand Marshall.

In addition to the walk, there will also be a kid’s zone with free food, drinks, musical entertainment and more. Walkers can sign up individually or as a team.

For more information on the walk or to learn more about the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America, visit www.ccfa.org/chapters/florida or call 561-218-2929.
