Then there was the squabble among student activists and Angela Graham-West, a member of the university’s board of trustees and wife of former U.S. Rep. Allen West. The ex-congressman, thinking his wife had been threatened, got into the act, talking tough. An FAU student complained that his words sounded a lot like a threat.
Amid all this, what FAU didn’t relish was more conspiracy bunk from James Tracy. But all that attention after his Sandy Hook comments and all those hits on his once-obscure blog had validated Tracy’s very existence. He could hardly pass on the Boston Marathon bombing.
So about those wrenching, brutal photographs and videos at the finish line? All that carnage? “Despite the seemingly formidable explosions very few bodies and no severed limbs are observable on the ground, even though there are indeed several people exhibiting bewilderment and apparent injuries. In short, the event closely resembles a mass-casualty drill, which for training purposes are designed to be as lifelike as possible.”
The professor blogged that “photographic evidence of the event suggests the possibility of play actors getting into position after the detonation of what may in fact have been a smoke bomb or similarly benign explosive.”
It is such cruel blather, based on the nearly insane premise that all those victims, all those witnesses, all those policemen, all that horror were parts of some intricate, precisely engineered contrivance to an obscure end. Yet Tracy will undoubtedly enjoy another wave of infamy. There’s an audience for this stuff out there, a vast community of paranoid knuckleheads, glad to have a Ph.D validate their fantasies.
It makes me long for the days when Tracy would have been just a local campus embarrassment.
Of course, I would say that, wouldn’t I? What else would you expect from a puppet of the corporate controlled media?
