Driven to Dine, Tribe events on tap

 

Driven to Dine, the annual Florida Heart Research Institute fundraiser that treats participants to cocktails at former Miami Dolphins coach Don Shula’s home and then whisks them by limo to one of 10 top South Florida restaurants, takes place Saturday night. Tickets are $625; heartofachef.org.

The Tribe, a group for young Jewish professionals, celebrates Israel’s 65th birthday at 7 p.m. Tuesday with a party at The Villa 221, 221 NE 17th St., Miami. Tickets are $25 in advance, $40 at the door, with proceeds benefiting Hands on Miami; thetribe.org/israel.
