I enjoyed Michael Putney’s April 3 column, Third and long, out of time-outs. But there is one point that has not been mentioned in all the discussions about paying to modernize the Miami Dolphins’ stadium. The point is: Who paid for the last major upgrade to the stadium when the covered lounge, TV and concession areas were added on the north side? It wasn’t tax money. If they could pay with their own money then, why not now?
