Re Andres Viglucci’s March 22 article, Biking to work a bust, Miami-style: I bike to work on Brickell and love it. But let’s face it: For most office workers who would like to bike to work, biking is a hassle. It’s not just the traffic, it’s the buildings, many of which don’t have bike racks and nearly all of which don’t have showers.
It made life much easier when our offices recently moved into 600 Brickell, which has racks and showers, plus a gym for tenants who need decompression and energy. It would be great if owners of buildings new and old got the same idea.
Our city has great weather and a fast-paced 24/7 business world, and we need all the fresh air and energy we can grab.
