Cocktail is Betsy’s O, Miami ode

To celebrate its role as the host hotel for the month-long O, Miami poetry festival, The Betsy South Beach, 1440 Ocean Dr., Miami Beach, is offering a literary libation. Created by BLT Steak general manager David Weiss, the Mot Juste combines rye, absinthe yellow chartreuse (an herbal liqueur), lemon juice and simple syrup.

The cocktail is $15 through April, when a poet will read an original poem at 5 p.m. each day on the hotel’s terrace. The Betsy is a 2013 Knight Foundation Arts Challenge Grant recipient for its Writer’s Room project; 305-760-6902, thebetsyhotel.com.
