Two men arrested after Miami armed robbery

Two men were arrested Wednesday evening after three people riding in a car were robbed at gunpoint at Northwest Seventh Court and 56th Street.

Clieve Georges, 18, was one of three men who allegedly robbed the victims. The second person arrested was a juvenile. The third suspect had not been arrested Wednesday, Miami police said.

According to the police report, the men approached the car on foot, demanded money and forced three people out of the car. The robbers then fled, and one barricaded himself inside an apartment at 731 NW 56th St., police said. He came out after a SWAT standoff, and the two men were arrested.

Police asked anyone with information to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers, anonymously, at 305-471-8477, visit and select “Give a Tip,” or send a text message to 274637, enter CSMD followed by the tip information and press send.
