Kathryn Abbate, the Miami Beach clinic director, who pleaded guilty to a $6 million theft and then agreed to cooperate with the authorities, is likely to receive a sentence of about four years. Four years isn’t a bad return for her handiwork. And they say crime does not pay? It surely pays in Florida.
