RELAY FOR LIFE
Congratulations to the staff at Elements for Women-Sunset for raising over $1,800 at the recent American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life of East Kendall. Contributions came in from the health club’s members and participants at the event held at Baptist Hospital. Henry Cedeno led a Zumba class from the main stage and Club General Manager Jeannette Jarquin and other staff members sold raffles, day passes, "10 classes for $10" passes, and $5 personal training evaluations from a tent during the two-day event.
"This is the second year we’ve participated and we plan to make this a yearly event," said Jarquin. "Our club members as well as participants at the event were very generous this year. It’s great to see their energy and enthusiasm for such a great cause."
