Record-breaking year for Jazz in the Gardens

Jazz in the Gardens drew a record number of fans this year, organizers said Thursday.

The eighth annual event, held last weekend at Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens, boasted an attendance of 63,000. That broke the previous record of 48,000, which was set in 2012.

Performers included Ne-Yo, Earth, Wind & Fire, Charlie Wilson, New Edition, Monica, Fantasia and Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds.
