Re the March 19 article Bus driver gets reprieve: Broward Schools Superintendent Robert Muncie was right when he said “context does matter” to board members. It doesn’t appear the School Board can think outside the box. If my son were in the military and in a combat zone, there is no way I wouldn’t take his call.
It might just be the last time I’d ever talk to him. Besides, she had no students on her bus, was close to where the buses are to be parked and had never had any reprimands.
The board needs to get a heart.
