The Chicago Bears signed free-agent defensive end Turk McBride to a one-year deal on Wednesday.
McBride spent the past to years with the New Orleans Saints, appearing in 15 games and recording two sacks.
McBride, the former second-round selection in the 2007 NFL Draft, has totaled 119 tackles and 9 1/2 sacks in 66 career games with Kansas City, Detroit and New Orleans.
