Celtics sign D.J. White to multi-year deal

Forward D.J. White has signed a multi-year contract with the Boston Celtics, the team announced Wednesday.

The 6-foot-9 White originally signed a 10-day contract with Boston on Feb. 28 and has since appeared in four games.

Over the course of those contests, White has averaged 2.8 points, 1.5 rebounds and 6.8 minutes per game. The Indiana product also has played for Oklahoma City and Charlotte after being selected by Detroit with the 29th pick in the 2008 NBA Draft.
