Police on Wednesday are looking for a suspect involved in a high-speed chase through Broward and into Miami-Dade that reached speeds of 90 mph.

The chase started Tuesday night with a burglary in Collier County.

Police said they chased three suspects as they sped down Florida's Turnpike in a gray Toyota Venza. The suspects eventually got off the turnpike, ditched the car near the intersection of Northwest 27th Avenue and 199th Street and ran.

After the suspects jumped a fence, two of them split off from the third and began running through a neighborhood right past surprised residents.

Police caught two of the suspects after they jumped a fence into a residential yard. Officers used search dogs to aid in the search.

The third managed to evade police.
