Recap: Chicago Cubs vs. Texas

Alfonso Soriano clubbed a two-run homer and the Chicago Cubs bested the Texas Rangers, 5-4, in spring training action on Tuesday.

Darwin Barney added a solo shot and Anthony Rizzo had a sacrifice fly for the Cubs, who sent Chris Rusin to the mound for the start. The lefty surrendered four runs over five innings, but the Chicago bullpen pieced together a shutout the rest of the way.

Texas starter Alexi Ogando was tagged for four runs -- three earned -- on five hits over five frames. Ian Kinsler, David Murphy, Adrian Beltre and A.J. Pierzynski each had an RBI in defeat.
