Recap: Texas vs. Kansas City

Ian Kinsler went 3-for-3 with a two-run home run as the Texas Rangers took an 8-2 win over the Kansas City Royals in spring training action.

Julio Borbon was 3-for-3 with two RBI and two runs scored and Mitch Moreland had two hits, two runs scored and an RBI for the Rangers, who had 17 hits in the game. Derek Lowe pitched three innings and gave up just three hits and a walk along with three strikeouts.

Brandon Wood hit a two run double while Lorenzo Cain had two hits for the Royals, who saw starter Ervin Santana was pounded for six runs on 10 hits over four innings of work.
