A dying proposal

 

After four years the Senate proposes to reduce the deficit by $1.85 trillion over 10 years. Plain and simple, this is a proposal to slow our rush to bankruptcy. If the plan were accomplished, we would still be going deeper into debt. It’s like telling a dying man, sorry, we can’t help you, we can only give you a sleeping pill.

His claim that the still-unanswered question of where President Obama was and what he did was irrelevant, since Obama was in contact with his staff, was particularly outrageous.
