Recap: Detroit vs. Washington

Tyler Moore hit a pair of home runs and drove in three, as Washington outlasted Detroit, 12-10, in Grapefruit League action.

Chris Marrero added two hits and three RBI, while Micah Owings knocked in two and Chad Tracy knocked in one for the Nats.

Ryan Mattheus allowed two runs in the sixth inning but was credited with the win.

Matt Tuiasosopo hit a two-run shot, Victor Martinez and Prince Fielder each totaled two RBI and Torii Hunter added a solo blast for the Tigers.

Al Alburquerque gave up four runs -- three earned -- while recording just two outs in the eighth inning to take the loss.
