  • Elizabeth Ratch, 18, is a Miami native who spent weeks planning her outfit, and days making her beaded creations that cover her body. She wears reptilian green and yellow contact lenses. Her beaded face mask also serves a practical purpose by keeping out some of the dust and dirt kicked up throughout the festival grounds. Some of her inspiration comes from video games, but showing off multiple colors is a must. She says she just wanted to "be a little different" this year. Kabir Khiatani

  • Ewa Szyszkowska and Jessica Holguin came to Miami for Ultra Music Festival 2013 from their hometown of San Antonio, TX. The girls wanted to be comfortable throughout the festival because they wanted to avoid getting "hot and sweaty." Ultra is celebrating its 15th year, and attendance this year is expected to surpass last year's total of 165,000 people. Kabir Khiatani

The girls wear neon colored hats, and have matching tops and bottoms. Their shorts read "RIP SHM" which is their dedication to Swedish House Mafia, the Swedish electronic dance trio, who perform the first day of Ultra Music Festival 2013, with their final performance as a group coming on the final day of the second weekend of Ultra on Sunday, March 24, 2013. Their other themes for the weekend will include a USA theme, with red, white, and blue as the only colors in their outfit, and a "daisy girl" outfit, which is an homage to the Flower Power counter-culture movement of the late 1960s and early 1970s.
