Florida: Key Largo’s Brew on the Bay

Craft beer makers and ale aficionados are to pour samples of a wide array of amateur and expert batches during the second annual Brew on the Bay craft beer festival April 4-7 in Key Largo. Event highlights include a home brew competition, meet-and-greets with brewing experts and a Sunday hangover brunch. The main event on April 6 at Rowell’s Marina will feature more than 80 regional and worldwide craft and specialty beers for tastings along the waterfront. Money raised benefits the Upper Keys Rotary Club scholarship fund and other efforts.

But suddenly, there it was: a hard, brownish-gray chevron lying on the sand.
