Recap: Seattle vs. Netherlands

Wladimir Balentien went 3-for-5 with a three-run homer and five RBI and Michael Duursma drove in a pair as Netherlands cruised past the Seattle Mariners, 8-1, on Friday.

Roger Bernadina went 2-for-3 with a double and two runs scored and Texas Rangers prospect Jurickson Profar had two hits and scored twice for the Netherlands. Starter Kevin Heijstek gave up just one run on three hits over three innings.

Dustin Ackley drove in the lone run for the Mariners, who saw starter Jon Garland give up five runs on six hits while striking out seven over three innings.
