Recap: Baltimore vs. Boston

The Sports Network

Ryan Flaherty hit a game-tying two-run home run in the bottom of the 10th inning to help the Baltimore Orioles earn a 3-3 tie against the Boston Red Sox on Friday in spring training action.

The teams entered the final frame locked at 1-1 before J.C. Linares led off the 10th with a solo shot to put Boston in front.

The Red Sox added an insurance run later in the inning on Ronald Bermudez's RBI single, but Flaherty followed Russ Canzler's two-out single in the bottom half with a blast to right field to knot the game.

Boston starter Clayton Mortensen allowed two hits and a walk over three scoreless frames, while Baltimore starter Zach Britton gave up one hit and two walks over 3 2/3 blank innings.
