Recap: Seattle vs. Cincinnati

Mike Zunino hit a go-ahead, solo home run in the bottom of the eighth inning to lift the Seattle Mariners to an 8-7 Cactus League win over the Cincinnati Reds.

Michael Morse finished 3-for-3 with two homers and five RBI for the Mariners.

Seattle starter Joe Saunders was tagged for seven runs -- five earned -- on nine hits in 3 2/3 innings.

Zack Cozart drove in two runs for Cincinnati, while starter Homer Bailey gave up three runs and six hits over four innings.

In the book, he also acknowledges how he returned $500,000 to the Giants after a typo gave him an uintended bonus in the new contract he signed following his breakout 2009 season.

    When Jeremy Affeldt came to the Bay Area as an opposing player, he refused to leave his hotel room aside from going to and from the ballpark. He was admittedly homophobic.
