Sunset High School baseball team extends winning streak to eight games

 

Miami Herald Staff Reports

The Sunset Knights increased their win streak to eight games after beating the host Columbus Explorers 7-1 on Tuesday.

Michael Paez homered and scored three runs. Michael Centeno went 3 for 4, and Alfredo Iser drove in three.

Pitcher Danny Diaz picked up his fourth win.

The game was kept close until the Knights pulled away in the fourth, scoring three times.

Sunset is now 9-1 overall and 6-0 in district play.
