Woman dead, man critical in apparent Dania Beach murder-suicide

The Broward Sheriff’s Office was investigating an apparent murder-suicide in Dania Beach that left a woman dead and a man in critical condition Tuesday afternoon.

Deputies responded to a 911 call about a possible shooting about 12:15 p.m. in the 200 block of Northeast Second Place. When they arrived, they found the woman’s body and the injured man, both with apparent gunshot wounds.

Broward Fire Rescue took the man to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, where he remained in critical condition Tuesday night. Neither person was immediately identified.
