Actors’ Playhouse launched its latest production, In The Heights, with a pre-curtain reception on Friday evening, March 8.

Barbara Stein, executive producing director, and David Arisco, artistic director, joined the cast to welcome guests, who included Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Nilo Cruz (Anna in the Tropics), prior to opening night of the Tony Award-winning musical.

The opening of Actors’ Playhouse’s production of In The Heights took place on the fifth anniversary of the show’s opening night on Broadway, marking the first time ever that members of the original Broadway and national tour casts joined with Miami’s finest talent to bring this regional production to South Florida audiences.
