The Sports Network

Suzann Pettersen rallied for her sixth Ladies European Tour victory on Sunday and that helped her improve one spot to No. 7 in this week's women's world rankings.

Pettersen will look to improve her ranking even further this week when the LPGA Tour returns to action in Arizona.

Ahead of Pettersen, the top six in the rankings remained unchanged with Yani Tseng followed by Na Yeon Choi, Stacy Lewis, Inbee Park, Shanshan Feng and Jiyai Shin.

Pettersen's move bumped So Yeon Ryu down a notch to eighth. Ai Miyazato held steady in ninth and was again trailed by Mika Miyazato, Paula Creamer, Cristie Kerr, Catriona Matthew, Karrie Webb and Amy Yang.

Azahara Munoz and Sun Ju Ahn exchanged positions with Munoz improving one to 16th. The last three were unchanged with No. 18 Brittany Lincicome followed by Angela Stanford and Lexi Thompson.
