The Sports Network

The New York Jets re-signed linebacker Josh Mauga, the team announced on Monday.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Mauga signed with the Jets as an undrafted free agent in 2009 and spent time on the practice squad in 2009 and 2010 before joining the active roster in October 2010.

The Nevada product appeared in five games for New York in 2012 before landing on injured reserve with a torn pectoral muscle, posting five tackles. Over 29 career games, Mauga tallied 27 tackles and one interception on defense and also had 40 tackles on special teams.
