The Sports Network

The Denver Broncos agreed to terms with defensive back David Bruton, re-signing the special teams standout to a three- year contract on Monday.

Broncos general manager John Elway announced the deal through his Twitter account saying: "Thrilled we've agreed to terms on the re-signing of David Bruton to a 3-yr deal. One of NFL's top special-teamers who adds depth at DB."

Over four NFL seasons, all with Denver, Bruton has recorded 65 tackles on defense and has added 32 stops on special teams.

The Notre Dame product had five tackles in 2012 and recorded his first career interception in a Week 12 win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
