Recap: Colorado vs. Los Angeles

The Sports Network

Juan Uribe capped a huge fifth inning with a three-run homer as the Los Angeles Dodgers recorded a 6-1 victory over the Colorado Rockies in spring training action.

The Dodgers scored all six of their runs in the fifth, with starting pitcher Clayton Kershaw, Matt Kemp and Skip Schumaker all delivering RBI singles in front of Uribe's blast.

Kershaw also shined on the mound, with the former NL Cy Young winner yielding just one unearned run on two hits over a five-inning stint.

Counterpart Jeff Francis held the Dodgers scoreless over the first four frames before being reached for four runs in the fifth. The left-hander allowed six hits and walked two in 4 1/3 innings of work.
