Florida: Elliott Museum opens in Stuart

The old Elliott Museum in Stuart is feeling renewed after undergoing a $20 million “green” re-building. The 53-year-old Martin County institution focuses on art, history and technology. The museum’s off to a great start with a dramatic hands-on exhibit, Leonardo da Vinci’s Machines in Motion, featuring 40 full-size machines made directly from the master’s drawings. The exhibit runs through September.
