Golf fans are accustomed to seeing a Tiger and a Bear on the links. But a cow and a bull?

Not so much.

But for several hours Friday, that’s exactly who was grazing on the 13th and 14th fairways at Doral’s Jim McLean Signature Course.

As Tiger, Phil and Graeme fought it out on the leader board of the WGC-Cadillac Championship being played just blocks away on Doral’s Blue Monster course, crews worked to remove the cow and bull — including, rumor has it, trying to load one onto a golf cart.

“I’ve been here for seven years and I’ve seen lots of animals on the course — but never a cow,” said Cory Head, head golf professional at the Doral Golf Resort & Spa.

The livestock were originally found wandering around a Doral shopping plaza on Northwest 107th Avenue about 3 a.m. Friday. They were taken to an area set up by the Doral Police Department, but managed to break free and wander onto the nearby golf course.

“They were not aggressive,” said Sgt. Fatima Nuñez.

In fact, golfers were allowed to play the course — although hitting one would have meant a two-stroke penalty, joked Ed Russo, project consultant for the resort.

During their stay, the bull and cow grazed on the fairways, made up of Tifway 419 Bermuda grass.

“It’s catnip for cattle,’’ said Russo.

Eventually, the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services removed the cow and bull about 12:45 p.m. The owner has still not been found.

At the end of the day, Tiger set a personal record with 17 birdies at the end of two rounds. But the real buzz was over the livestock.

“It was the talk of the club,’’ Russo said.
