Gulliver pounds out win with active bats

Miami Herald Staff Reports

Freshman Ana Hilton hit a grand slam and pitcher Gabbee Drainey earned her fourth win of the season as Gulliver defeated Westminster Christian 15-3 in five innings Wednesday.

A three-run homer by Gabbee Draney put the Raiders on the board right away. Then Jessica Rivera’s single brought in pinch-runner Hilton to increase the lead to 4-0 in the first.

Hilton’s slam came in the fourth.

Gulliver will play Jupiter, which was in the final four last year, at 2 p.m. Thursday.
