Nikki Beach plans resort in Turkey

A Nikki Beach Resort is in the works for Bodrum, a waterfront city in Turkey.

According to a press release from Miami Beach-based Nikki Beach Worldwide, the resort will include 57 suites and villas, a restaurant and lounge, a spa and conference space. GAD, an architectural firm based in New York and Istanbul, is working on the project, which is scheduled to open in 2014.

The company said more resorts are on tap over the next few years in Greece, Croatia, Cyprus and Lebanon. It operates beach clubs in 11 cities, including the original in Miami Beach.
