Gerrit Cole struck out the first six batters he faced and Gaby Sanchez went 3-for-3 with a home run, as the Pittsburgh Pirates blanked a Spain team prepping for the World Baseball Classic, 10-0.
Anderson Hernandez clubbed a three-run homer and Jeff Larish added a solo shot.
Cole gave up two hits over three innings.
Spain starter Yoanner Negrin tossed two scoreless innings before the Pirates broke through with three runs in the third off Rhiner Cruz.

Alberto Callaspo hit a three-run homer in Los Angeles' five-run seventh inning, and the Angels beat the White Sox 12-9 on Saturday to end Chicago's four-game winning streak.
Scott Feldman pitched into the seventh inning and contributed two RBI as Chicago took an 8-2 win over the New York Mets in the second of three from Wrigley Field on Saturday.
