Justin Bieber has apologized to his young fans – and their outraged, overtired parents – after they accused him of taking the stage almost two hours late for a concert in London Monday night. The singer insisted via Twitter he had only been 40 minutes late and blamed “technical issues.” Concertgoers say Biebs took the stage at the 02 Arena 10:30 p.m. Monday, when the start time had been listed as 8:30.

In other concert news, a municipal court in Prague acquitted Randy Blythe, the lead singer of Lamb of God, of causing a teen’s death at a 2010 concert, the AP reports. The court ruled that concert organizers were to blame.

A pox on you

Upon her Monday return to The View, Barbara Walters said she thinks the she contracted chickenpox from a “well known actor” while in Miami over the holidays. “I gave him a New Year’s hug and a kiss on the cheek. . . . What he didn’t know then, and I didn’t know at all, was that he was about to develop a bad case of shingles,” triggered from the same virus. The NY Daily News thinks it’s Frank Langella. Get a shingles vaccine, seniors!

Don Pardo could do his job sitting down, but the Saturday Night Live announcer is taking a break from his gig to deal with a broken hip. Pardo, 95, has opened the NBC skit show since 1975, except for one season in the ’80s.

Steven Weber’s marriage has crashed and burned. The Wings star, 52, had a 17-year run with former MTV personality Juliette Lesley Hohnen. They have two sons, 12 and 9. In an interview with The Miami Herald talking about his Hallmark movie Duke last April, Weber joked that life with Hohnen was a lot of “honeydews.” As in, “Honey, do this. Honey do that.” Weber added he “wouldn’t have it any other way.”

KT Tunstall and her drummer husband of four years, Luke Bullen, are finito, according to the Scottish Sun. The 37-year-old singer is said to be devastated.

Newsroom actress Alison Pill and actor Jay Baruchel have called off their engagement, as per RadarOnline.

Boob tube

Ex Real Housewives of NYC self-promoter Kelly Bensimon has found herself a younger lover in Million Dollar Listing’s Ryan Serhant, Star dishes. She’s 44, he’s 28. In other TV news, Anthony Edwards needs a career doctor. ABC’s Zero Hour was killed after just three episodes.

    Stevie Wonder sings at his own birthday bash

    Stevie Wonder celebrated his 63rd birthday a week after the big day (May 13) with a private concert for almost 700 high rollers, VIP guests and media types Tuesday night at Hard Rock Live at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. The legendary Wonder performed for well over two hours, singing covers by The Beatles, Michael Jackson and Bob Marley as well as his own greatest hits. Wonder also invited some of the audience, this writer included, to audition for him on his hit, Part Time Lover. While he told us we were better than the previous, uh, contestant, we’ll be keeping the full time day job.
