The sequester created by our elected Washington leaders follows their failure to create a budget necessary to operate our government. These inept people, failing to do their jobs, abdicated their responsibility to the bookkeeper who will simply cut services indiscriminately regardless of priority or logic.
If the leaders of a business acted in this irresponsible way, they would be fired and the board would liquidate the business. In a country with a parliamentary system such as the UK, there would be a vote of no confidence and a call for new elections to bring in a new team of leaders. In a non-democratic government, the people would revolt and throw out their government by force.
By their failure to lead and manage our country, our elected officials should be replaced before their incompetence destroys our country.
