Recap: LA Angels vs. Los Angeles

Josh Hamilton hit his first home run with his new team and the Angels exploded for seven runs in the third inning to beat the Dodgers, 16-8, in spring training play.

Peter Bourjos had a three-run triple to highlight the big inning. Matt Young added a three-run triple in the seventh frame.

Jered Weaver allowed two hits and fanned a pair of batters in his 2013 spring training debut.

Hamilton's two-run shot came off Hyun-Jim Ryu in the first inning.

Rusty Ryal homered for the Dodgers.

Ryu allowed four hits and a pair of runs while fanning three over two innings. Matt Palmer was touched for five hits and seven unearned runs over two-thirds of an inning.
