Best farm system

 

Jeffrey Loria says that in two or three years we will be proud of the Marlins team because it’s going to be a championship team. Guess what, Jeff? Nobody believes you because they think that you will have traded away the current players we have now in that steal of a trade that wiped out the Toronto Blue Jays farm system. We do, after all, now have the fifth best farm system in the majors.

I love baseball as much as anyone and at one time had season tickets. Those days are done. However, if there are new owners one day, count me in.

    The number of small businesses in the United States and their economic impact has increased dramatically in recent decades. According to the Small Business Administration, small businesses currently provide 55 percent of all jobs and are responsible for 66 percent of all net new jobs since the 1970s.

    I feel like we don’t have a baseball team in Miami anymore. At least not a bonafide Major League team.

    By signing HB 655, which bars local governments from enacting their own ordinances on employee benefits, Gov. Rick Scott shows once again that he is beholden to big business at any cost — even at the expense of women, children, workers and those falling behind.
