Virus sidelines Mucho Macho Man

The Sports Network

A mild virus, as reported on Gulfstream Park's website, has sidelined Mucho Macho Man from next week's Gulfstream Park Handicap, a race he won last year.

Mucho Macho Man, second to Fort Larned last November in the $5 million Breeders' Cup Classic, was the odds-on favorite in January's Florida Sunshine Millions Classic, but failed to handle the sloppy track and was eased down the stretch by jockey Mike Smith.
