How many articles do we have to read about talking on a cell phone or texting while driving before we decide that something needs to be done about it?
Hats off to state Sen. Maria Sachs for sponsoring legislation that would make texting or using a cell phone without a hands-free device a primary offense for all drivers. How hard can this obvious decision be for our elected officials? Like seat belts, it would save lives.
What’s to debate? Pass a bill that would make our roads safer and move on.
