Free Saturday admission to Everglades National Park

Admission to Everglades National Park will be free Saturday in honor of its third annual Vintage Day celebration.

The family-friendly event, themed “The Battle to Preserve Paradise,” is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will feature historical reenactments, presentations and guided tours throughout the day.

Visitors are invited to park at the Ernest F. Coe Visitor Center and take a ride on the Homestead Trolley to Royal Palm.

Free admission is only at the Homestead entrance to Everglades National Park. The Shark Valley entrance will collect fees Saturday.
