Recap: Florida State vs. Wake Forest

Michael Snaer scored a game-high 24 points as the Florida State Seminoles recorded a 76-62 win over the Wake Forest Demon Deacons in ACC play at the Donald L. Tucker Center.

Also scoring in double figures for Florida State (15-13, 7-8 ACC) were Okaro White with 13 points and Boris Bojanovsky with 10 off the bench, the former also clearing a game-high nine rebounds as the squad snapped a two-game slide.

The Demon Deacons (12-15, 5-10), losers of three of the last four, were paced by Travis McKie who tallied 15 points as the only player on the team in double figures.

After giving up a 3-pointer to Snaer to start the contest, Wake went on a quick 5-0 run in the opening minutes in order to take a two-point advantage, but from there the 'Noles took over and moved to a 40-34 lead a the break on the strength of 51.9 percent shooting from the field.

In the second half Wake Forest shot a dismal 9-of-32 from the floor and was never in contention as the hosts cruised to the 14-point victory.

FSU easily won the rebounding battle, 44-21, helping the squad to overcome 16 turnovers on the night.
