Raúl Castro’s retirement

The Castros are good readers, and what they are reading is the handwriting on the wall. With Fidel becoming senile, Venezuela’s Hugo Chávez dying (there goes their Sugar Daddy), no more Russian support if no oil is found, and an economy and populace that see riches and growth all around except for them, he realizes this is a formula for another revolution; not one to his liking.

Leave while they love you is the answer. He becomes the hero and whoever follows the goat. Retiring is the smart move.
