TD Bank names new regional president for Florida

TD Bank said Monday that it has named Jesus “Ernie” Diaz regional president for Florida.

Diaz will lead TD Bank’s Florida retail, small business, commercial and specialty banking operations and lending services throughout a network of more than 170 branches, the bank said. Most recently, the state was under leadership of Kevin Gillen, who has been promoted to head of retail strategy and solutions for TD Bank.

Diaz has more than 28 years of banking experience, including five years with TD Bank. Most recently, he served as South Florida market president, leading commercial banking operations in the region. In his new role, Diaz’s office wil be in Coral Gables.

TD Bank is headquartered in Cherry Hill, N.J., and Portland, Maine. The bank is part of TD Bank Group and a subsidiary of The Toronto-Dominion Bank of Toronto.
