Recap: Texas vs. Kansas City

Jeff Francoeur went 2-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI as the Royals edged the Rangers, 7-5, in spring training.

Salvador Perez had three hits and scored twice for Kansas City, which saw starter Luis Mendoza last four innings and give up one run on four hits.

Matt Harrison survived just one inning in his start for Texas and was tagged for four runs on six hits. Leury Garcia homered and drove in three in the loss.
