Recap: Colorado vs. Arizona

Martin Prado went 2-for-4 with three RBI and the Arizona Diamondbacks took down the Colorado Rockies, 8-6, in spring training action.

Eric Hinske went 3-for-3 with two RBI and two runs scored for the Diamondbacks, who had 14 hits. Starter Patrick Corbin fanned four batters over two scoreless innings.

Corey Dickerson hit a two-run homer for the Rockies. Kyle Parker knocked in a pair of runs.

Colorado starter Jeff Francis gave up two hits over two scoreless innings.

    Johnson, Jennings homer as Rays beat Blue Jays

    Kelly Johnson and Desmond Jennings homered, Alex Cobb won for the first time in three starts and the Tampa Bay Rays beat the Toronto Blue Jays 4-3 on Tuesday night.

    Pirates beat Cubs 5-4 behind Snider's grand slam

    Travis Snider hit a pinch-hit grand slam during a five-run sixth and the Pittsburgh Pirates spoiled a strong return to the mound for Matt Garza with a 5-4 win over the Chicago Cubs on Tuesday night.
