Recap: St. Louis vs. Boston

Pedro Ciriaco drove in two runs to help the Boston Red Sox to a 5-3 win over the St. Louis Cardinals in Grapefruit League action.

Mark Hamilton and J.C. Linares each drove in a run for the Red Sox, who also got two hits and a run scored from Mauro Gomez.

Jon lester tossed two perfect innings in the start for Boston, striking out one.

Daniel Descalso hit a solo home run for the Cardinals, who saw starter John Gast give up two runs on four hits over two innings of work.
