Teen dead after Liberty City shooting

Miami Police are investigating the shooting death of a teenage boy in Liberty City early Saturday.

Marquis Bruson, 16, was shot near the intersection of Northwest 62nd Street and Northwest 13th Place, according to a statement from Miami Police.

After Police received a call of shots fired they discovered Bruson, injured by at least one bullet around 1:45 p.m.

He was taken to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he later died.
